This week ⭐️🙌
Back at The Cheesegrater on Tuesday, then heading to @shotengai_market from Thursday to Sunday 🇯🇵
One of our favourite markets to trade at every year. Good food, good people, and four days of serving fried chicken at @lowerstablestreetmarket
Come find us if you’re around ⭐️
No more guessing what our bowls look like! 👀
When we first started Banzai, we used sample bowls to showcase our food - but over time, we realised just how much waste that created. With 3 markets a week, that added up to over 140 sample bowls wasted every year!
As a business that values sustainability, we knew we had to do better.
Now, you can see exactly what you’re getting - whether it’s Classic Mayo, Spicy Mayo, or Teriyaki Glaze. No more guessing, and no more explaining it over and over again!
Special thanks to @rfrhaynes for the images and @greg_crumpler for the designs 🫶
ひさしぶり!
We’ve been M.I.A for a bit, but your Karaage Queens are back with new branding ✨
After a 1 year and a half of trading, we’ve got some gorgeous aprons, stickers and business cards (feeling very legit now)
Massive Arigato to @greg_crumpler for making our vision into reality 🫶🏽
A couple weeks ago we teamed up with @wellkneadedfood for our first canapé event at the Natural History Museum ✨
We created a British, Italian & Japanese fusion menu featuring Mozzarella squash risotto arancini coated in panko crumbs, topped with wasabi caesar, daikon & shiso, alongside our Okinawa-inspired karaage open sandwich.
A really fun night experimenting with new flavours and doing something a little different for us. Huge thank you to the @kerbfood team, Well Kneaded, and everyone involved for having us 🫶 Hopefully the first of many more collabs.
Craving Karaage this Sunday?
We’re excited to be trading at the Yokimono Japanese Market tomorrow 🎌⭐️
Catch us at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park serving up fresh, crispy fried chicken and tofu from 11 - 6.
If you’re heading down for the music, workshops and everything else, make sure you come find us ⭐️
A little summary of Shotengai last weekend ⭐️
Saw so many new faces and familiar faces this month. Thank you for showing up, honestly one of the reasons this market is so special ❤️
If you missed us this month, we’ll be back with some Japanese fried goodness from 14 - 17 May 🎌❤️

See you there 👋
We have a problem.
We can’t stop talking about five dishes.
They’ve been living rent free in our heads for the last 12 months.
From Japanese rice bowls to beefy tacos, one-off collabs, Basque staples and hybrid desserts. We’ve queued for them, craved them and brought them up in far too many meetings.
So instead of arguing about it any longer…
We’re putting it to you.
These are the dishes we’ve been obsessed with.
Now you decide which one takes home BEST DISH at our Member Summit next week
If you’ve tried them…you already know.
If you haven’t…which one are you going for first?
WILL IT BE?
🍗The crunchy combo from @banzai.kitchen

Year of the Horse 🐎 🧧
A little rundown of our day at @greenwich.peninsula to celebrate Lunar New Year.
So grateful to be part of such a special day - good vibes, great energy, and plenty of hot karaage ⭐️
New month, new sauce! 🍛
We’re dropping our curry sauce as this month’s special - slow-cooked, rich, and made for cold winter days.
Comforting, savoury, and the perfect pour-over for crispy karaage.
Available at our markets from tomorrow.
See you there ⭐️
