Eight years ago today! What a feeling. Only stoppage in the National Championship finals. The first year male and female boxers boxed on the same stage. And what a stage, the Echo Arena in Liverpool. I was absolutely delighted to be invited back to IMpower Fund Forum this year. We started the day boxing on the beach and then Matt and I spoke about ‘Leading from the corner’ drawing parallels between coaching and leadership in business. I’m blown away to have been shortlisted for @ldn_sport Volunteer of the Year, for my work in amateur boxing. It’s an honour to make it through to the last three with so many incredible people volunteering across different sports. @rathboneabc won the Uniting London award in 2021 for my project with the LGBTQ+ community so I know we have a great night of awards and meeting likeminded people next week.
