Finally finished writing something that I’d been working on (at least the first draft). Glad to report that I feel like I found my voice in this one. Found it and possibly abused it :)
Writing is so invigoratingly depressing. I feel alive.
I did what they tell writers to do. Dig in deep, lay out the embarrassment, yada yada. And I think it worked?
But now where tf, does one find the GUTS to tell people of the blasphemy that they have written?😇🥰🤲
Yes, I have made my first billboard appearance in this city of fucking dreams. Lapping up the Shanti Priya moment.
(But currently also sulking because by the time I went to click a picture in front of it, a certain sOmeBody took over all the hoardings in the city and even had a hologram projection of him shaking hands with the French president on the sealink. I get that he’s excited but I thought it was downright selfish of him to eat into my limelight like this :)
One tends to avoid having any expectations in this journey of constant rejection and doubt, whilst being in complete love with it. So this feels like a little reward for waking up everyday and holding onto this godforsaken thing called hope.
