Today at our ballet studio, the dancers got to see the ballet *FRIDA* for the first time—choreographed by our Ballet Director, Ricardo Fernando—in its VR digital version, which was created, performed, and recorded with them. It is now an official part of the theater’s repertoire and can be viewed at home by demand .
It was a special event for them to see themselves dancing and to experience this production of Frida up close and in this other dimension!
A unique and fun experience !!
We thank everyone for these hours together and the VR-Digital department, especially Benjamin Seuffert for the project and for this new official participation of the Augsburg Ballet with Frida, alongside the other ballet productions that are part of the digital repertoire and are already doing very well and enjoying immense success in terms of demand!🔥

Tonight we will be dancing as guests at the 5th Dance Theater Benefit Gala at the Ulm Theater, the Duet STATE OF MIND from the MADE FOR 2 Evening production with choreography by our Ballet Director Ricardo Fernando .
The Duet will be danced by our beautiful dancers Soyoka Iwata & Thomas Krähenbūhl.
We are honored by the invitation to participate in this Charitable Dance Gala in support of this important cause the Cystic Fibrosis Support Association Ulm e.V. and the Gänseblümchen Foundation
UNIQUE & EXCLUSIVE and also to share the stage with other important ballet companies on the German scene ,
Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München, Regensburg , Mainz , Koblenz und Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin as well as with the house company, the Ulm Theater Ballet.
We wish everyone a big TOI TOI TOI for tonight’s show and may it be magical !!

Tonight and on Sunday, we will present the acclaimed ballet evening: STRAVINSKY,
choreographed by Didy Veldman and our ballet director, Ricardo Fernando.
This evening promises a unique artistic dialogue: a world-famous work and a rarely performed—but no less significant—work by the same composer come together in entirely new choreographic interpretations. Didy Veldman’s “Les Noces” and Ricardo Fernando’s “Le Sacre du printemps” create a vibrant spectacle that interprets rituals in various ways and brings them to life through dance.
The role of the chosen one in “Le Sacre du Printemps” in both performances will be danced by Martina Piacentino

This afternoon we have another performance of the successful production *Stravinsky*, a double bill featuring choreography by Didy Veldman and our Ballet Director Ricardo Fernando.
Our ballet department has transformed Stravinsky’s two quite different works, “Les Noces” and “Le Sacre du
Printemps,” into a full-length dance
experience in Martinipark. What connects them are rituals—of marriage or
sacrifice. Didy Veldman and Ricardo Fernando have each found their own ways to
translate these into the present day.
We wish all the dancers a wonderful performance and TOI TOI TOI !
