I would like to extend my greatest gratitude for choreographing this solo to me. It was the most emotional, brutal, irreplaceable, and beautiful experience of my life. The process of hating dance was necessary for me to realize how much I love to dedicate my life to dance. I am very much looking forward to see where this brutality would take me to.

Hommage to the sacred tree
2024年冬、初めて場踊りを経験できたあの日を記録に残します。
今思えば、人生で一番、私が私であることを素直に受け入れられた瞬間だったかもしれないなぁ。
所々へこんでいて、ざらついていて、先人達が踏み締めてきた歴史を感じるあの床と、あわいとも言えるような、シンプルな四つの柱で囲われた半個室のような空間は、私の空気を常に循環させてくれて、まさにあの場が私を受け入れてくれて、私もそれを受け入れることができて、お互いに恋に落ちたような感覚になったのを、思い出しました。
踊りっていいなぁ、って改めて思ったんだよな。

『ミニマリズム・ミュージックの金字塔「In C」は音による生命体のようである。永遠に続くと思われるような音の反復は、あるサイクルとして生まれ、成長し、消滅し、また次のサイクルへと引き継がれていく。即興であるのに規則性を生み出す有機物。この即興的な反復による独特のコンポジションの中に音の輪廻を発見した。「Reincarnation」は、テリー・ライリーのミニマリズム・ミュージックを、仏教や古代ギリシャが持つ輪廻思想の背景から解釈し、身体表現として取り組んだ作品である。肉体によって縛られた身体という器は、人間にとって何を意味するのか。反復の輪廻の中で魂は羽化し、自己を超越し解脱へと向かう。』

2024 ベストダンサー賞 Best Dancer Award
今年は幸せなことに沢山日本で踊る機会をいただきました。
7月エプリ発表会、8月金田あゆ子振付作品、9月藝祭
そんな1年の集大成として、12月ヨコハマダンスコレクションコンペティションⅡにて「ベストダンサー賞」をいただきました。
4年間のイギリスでの学びと1年のフリーとしての経験、全て詰め込んだ作品「Reincarnation」がこうして高く評価していただけたこと、心より嬉しく思います。
2025年はダンサー兼振付家として更に高く飛躍できるよう、より自分の踊りを貫き通せる人間になることを、2024年最後の日に残しておこうと思います。
いつも応援してくださる皆様に、幸せな2024年に感謝を込めて。

Fortunately, I have had many opportunities to dance in Japan in 2024: Epris Ballet Studio performance, Ayuko Kaneta choreographed piece and Tokyo Art University Festival.
As for the final compilation of the year, in December, I received "Best Dancer Award" at the largest contemporary dance competition in Japan, Yokohama Dance Collection, Competition II.
I’m honored to receive a high evaluation for my work "Reincarnation," which is the culmination of four years of study in the UK and one year of experience as a freelance dancer.
I will leave the last day of 2024 to become a dancer who could persist my own dance, which I believe that will take me to an even higher leap forward as a dancer and choreographer in 2025.
