i wanted to talk more about unexpectedness, and i think this is the best example for it and the craziest one that ever happened to me. so this are two consecutive, different frames on a colorplus roll (yeah, it’s on film). for some reason the lab (maybe an automated machine? a human error? i’m not sure, as the film was shipped and i never talked to them about it) at some point started cutting the roll on the middle of the photos. maybe some photo had like a black thin line in it? but yeah, this error was carried for like 1/3 of the roll. and this two photos, which happened to be complementary, happened to be in that part that was cut by mistake. two different photos, two different effects that somehow work so well together. still crazy to me 🤯

a long-ish exposure in flinders. ngl sometimes i set my camera randomly and just fire. i think there’s so much beauty in unexpectedness. i took some of my best photos with new equipment that i still didn’t know how to use properly. experimenting. this one was shot at 1/8 sec at f13

i shot this one at some new melbourne subway. damn i love subways 😭 they always keep me inspired for some reason. my n1 safe spot to shoot. cried tears of joy when melbourne finally got new subway lines and stations 🥰
