What a great way to start my birthday month.
I got my first copy of December issue.
Never thought I will see my name on this magazine @lamag . I started during pandemic and thought when things will go back to normal-ish, things will be different. I was worried and nervous for my business and about the whole situation and also, the best feeling at the same time. I encountered lots of challenges and failures but I never gave up.
If you want to start a business or thinking of doing it. JUST DO IT and if things don’t go with the plan, that is okay. Because, you can start again and you will do it better.
Back when I was doing my pop-ups. I was declined several times from the organizers. I heard so many reasons/excuses why I couldn’t join. But, those didn’t discourage me, it pushed me to do better and look at me now. I am part of this magazine and it feels good. No hate towards anyone. If anything, Thank you for rejecting me 😂☺️

When I started this small business back in 2020. I definitely didn’t have any idea that I will make it this far and more. The best part of all these amazing projects are the people who never stop believing in me. Thank you all soooo much.

This is a reminder that we are doing our very best. Opening this new stall, took a lot of our energy/strength and our savings. I’ve always wanted and dreamed about having a bigger space. When the opportunity came, I took it. My husband & I, are working tirelessly and giving everything that we’ve got. If I can afford hiring people, I would. There’s no need to suggest that.
Since day 1 we never have a set menu. Why? Because I just don’t like doing same thing over and over. It’s not for me and that’s okay if you don’t like my ideas or style, we can move on to the next.
If the items are not ready that’s because sometimes “SH*T happens”. Sometimes, the donut dough over proofed and sometimes baked pie crust cracked, lots of things can happen when baking in the morning. Sometimes when you show up, we sell out. Sometimes I forget because guess what? I am also human.
When people say “I want to support small businesses”. That is great and we truly appreciate that.
But, please do it with kindness and more understanding. If the food that you got actually tasted amazing but, you’re complaining because you waited for few minutes, do you really meant “supporting small businesses”.
This is not a hate post. This is a reminder that “WE ARE DOING OUR VERY BEST”
My relationship with our customers is not all about transactional. It’s about connection, loyalty and most of all love & respect.
Thank you for reading. Again, we are not perfect. But, we are here doing what we love.

Fried Chicken Sandwich Hallelujah
drenched in our spicy honey butter kalamansi, with pickled onions, spicy chili garlic mornay sauce, garlic chili oil, stuffed with potato chips, cheddar & Pepper Jack cheeses, side of potato chips and beautiful pickles 🤣 (we will change the pickles later) and we make our own brioche dough because we love everything hallelujah 🙌🏼😂✨🙏

Cruller donut has begun ✨🙌🏼
Always fascinated with this type of donut and I also find it intimidating. It’s delicate and wanna make sure the wheat that you’re using is strong, well at least for this one. I decided to use @tehachapigrainproject Sonora 🌾…. So good and soooo perfect, give a good structure and extra flavor.
