Bb Bienenstich aka the bee sting cake 🐝 one of my all time fav german treats 🥹 if you don’t know - she’s a honey enriched brioche style dough normally baked w/ aCarmelized almond top & filled with a German style pudding stabilized with whipped cream. It’s usually baked in a round pan or a sheet to slice for a crowd during coffee hour. This weekend I swapped almonds for pistachios and the pudding for a mascarpone vanilla bean whip and filled it with @eatpistakio ‘s pistachio spread as an excuse to eat as much of it as I can without putting a spoon to the gallon container 😭
SHE SAID MAKE IT HOT PINK. Guava Meringue got a make over. Citrus cake layers x guava spread x brown butter cream cheese x finished with toasted meringue. Flowers are all edible & food safe 🌺🌼
