Art a Whirl! The biggest annual event for our studio by far, is nearly upon us! For those who are new to Minneapolis, or unfamiliar, and from out of town, this event is the largest art crawl in the USA. last year the event saw 120,000 people!
Spanning three days the weekend before Memorial Day, this event is held in Northeast Minneapolis and features open art studios, TONS of work for sale, art demonstrations and free music. (And if you’re lucky and in the right place at the right time, sometimes free snacks and beverages)
If we’ve been quiet lately, it’s because we’ve been heads down in work work work prepping new art, goods and more. I am sooooo stoked to start showing off what we’ve been making in the coming weeks so expect a LOT of posts.
In addition to all of that, a new thing we’re curating this year will be a shelf of “friends of the press” work featuring art and goods from other Riso printers and makers from all over the country. Truly a blink and you’ll miss it event! May 15-17, mark your calendars now!!!

Exploring the ins and outs of bad answers, our new zine made in collaboration with @cardinalsinofdullness and @clowne.towne explores the strange and bizarre answers as found on Hinge profiles 🩷 printed in pink and red inks on light pink paper, this one is sure to give you a laugh or at the very least… an eye roll.

Nikki Pfeifer aka Tekk Nikk, is a live pa performer, producer and DJ, and plays a wide range of electronic music infused with acid, electro, broken beat, and hypnotic & dubby techno.
This release is an enthralling 90-min blend of kinda weird, kinda funky, crazy, sexy and cool vibes. Only available on mixtape and limited to 100 copies, snag one while you can!
