Thank you to my bestie @_artrowe for inventing this language with me and for shaping this painting from the start. And thank you to my cinematographer @bchaggy for the inspo and editing help. Long live Radio Jesus 🙏
“Tuning In” is a painting inspired by tarot, astrology, music, and stories from far away.
It all began with a magical wish: a bay leaf lit on fire and sent into the universe.
What followed felt like gears turning behind the scenes almost instantly: synchronicities everywhere, songs arriving at perfect moments, and constant angel numbers that looked like trail markers on an unlit path.
At the time, I believed the signs were pointing me toward a specific destination. When things didn’t unfold the way I expected, I realized I had waded too deeply.
I made this painting to surrender to that experience, accepting that I did not yet have the answers. What emerged became a reflection of my attempt to understand my place in the universe.
Life rearranged itself and guided me toward the answers I needed to learn, not the ones I wanted to hear. The pieces formed a common thread and connected through serendipitously discovered books, people, songs, paintings, tarot decks, and voices on the radio.
What I learned through this four-month process is that there is a blurred line between meaning and projection, and between the spiritual world and reality. Playing this game requires surrendering to the outcome and trusting what unfolds… and that is where the real magic happens.
“Tuning In” will be on display at the @nhartassociation from March 4 - 29. Gallery opening is on March 6th from 5-8 PM.

Yesterday’s studio day had me reminiscing on where @backalleyboards_ was at just a year ago. Created our first batch of skateboards in May and got to participate in our first event, made our Moonshine snowboard, skated a lot, and got an article featured in the @concordmonitor .
Proud of us and really really excited to share what we have coming next (the biggest project we’ve ever worked on.) We just need to make a flyer but keep your eyes peeled because good news is on its way. 👀💙
Very happy to share that my Forest Illuminations (2) painting was selected for the Crème de la Crème ( best of the best <3 ) show at the @theartcenterdover in collaboration with the @nhartassociation .
The show will be up from May 11 to June 30th with an opening reception on June 6 from 6-9 PM.
This piece was one of the first paintings made for my Forage body of work and I’m looking forward to having it on display for the start of summer!

A lot of my work from these past two years used imagery that depicted feeling overwhelmed and suffocated. Recently, I’ve been making art that shows chains being set free, which I think is a good sign.

This will be on display at a very special show this fall. Stay tuned for more info 💙
This painting captures that moment when twilight turns to dusk, and you realize you’re enveloped in darkness and searching for the remaining sources of light to guide you home. 🕯️
You can see the visible fingerprints and marks I intentionally left to emphasize the human touch and that feeling of grasping for direction. The branches and leaves represent how nature reaches out to connect with the light, too, with the gold-painted leaves shining like lanterns and bringing them together.

I had my art displayed at the @barn_gallery when I was 7, it was a drawing I made of my dog Molly and I. I drew myself wearing a shirt that said “#1 girl.”
I love this picture because it reminds me to keep following the dream. Art has always been my constant and the thing I’ve fallen back on, whether everything feels magical or all in ruins.
Tomorrow, @backalleyboards_ is giving a presentation to a high school entrepreneurship class about our backgrounds and how our business came to be.
I would have probably looked up to us when I was younger. I get to work with my best friends and create the coolest projects. I’m so proud of us. 💙
My life truly feels so full now and it’s all because I never gave up on myself, and I never gave up my art.
