Concord Skatepark Fundraiser - gallery opening, food and bevs + homies. Our friends will be showing some artwork and working to raise funds for the Concord, NH skatepark project. Saturday May, 2nd - 7pm-9ish, we’ll be hanging. Please come through!
We were commissioned by the Barrington Public Library in NH (@barringtonnh_pl ) to create a custom snowboard for their new building. 📖The board would serve as a sign for the teen section, called the “Teen Zone.”
After learning more about the library and the teens who use the space, we wanted the design to feel cozy, imaginative, and like a place where teens could truly see themselves.
We landed on the theme “Medieval Meets Modern,” which blends fantasy, castles, scrolls, and mythical creatures with present-day books, graffiti, gaming, and creative expression. 🏰👾🪄
The board is now permanently on display at the library! Go take a look... and check out a book... it’s our reading rainbow. 🥰🌈📚
@Terrecreativestudios is a creative media company making sustainable choices second nature, starting with their first project: Terre_It_Up, a project reflecting on climate change and its impact on winter sports.
As part of the campaign, our upcycled snowboard became a canvas for storytelling: blending art, sustainability, and the future of the mountains we ride.
The Back Alley Boards artists brought Terre’s vision to life, layering key elements that speak to a visual reminder of what we need to protect.
🏔 Mountains by @backallli frame the scene, serving as a reminder of what’s at stake and made using stencils from post-consumer plastic bags. 🔥 @b0utin painted flames rising, mirroring the heat of climate change along with text to spark conversation. 🖌️ Characters drawn by @_artrowe capture our response to the changing environment, adapting and making the most of a shifting landscape.
This board challenges our perspective because protecting what we love starts with rethinking our impact.
