We're sharing a sneak peek at our upcoming animated film Rumpelstiltskin Meets Mozart, a collaboration with @karlacaprali . The music is from Mozart Symphony No. 40, performed by @budapestscoring , and recorded specially for this project. Voiced by the talented @cisgendered_rosebush . What was special about recording “Pero, Like (Magic City Anthem)”? All of it! BUT you almost can’t beat the Pero, Like (Choir) day of recording…getting to introduce our friends and music family to our home away from home: @shacknorth in Hialeah. The first time you walk into the Shack is always pretty magical. Movie and music paraphernalia cover the walls, instruments and amps are everywhere, and well, you can’t duplicate @elferny 🫶 Miami also gifted us with the most Miami recording day ever. Pouring rain just enough to flood the streets (and create moments of barefoot dancing and gallantry). With the rest of the day full of clear skies. We cannot wait for audience voting to open on our @elevatemiamitogether Elevated Tracks 305 entry. We (@alexalashmusic & @babybho ) are just so proud of what we made together! It takes a ciudad. And we’re so excited we can finally share some of the BTS of our submission for the @elevatemiamitogether ElevateTracks305 Miami Anthem contest. Our entry, titled Pero Like, (Magic City Anthem) was built from the ground up at @shacknorth @bassfacelavaskin finding the perfect rhythm to set the tone for an energetic anthem @mikailokasha laying down the most excellent bass and testing out a mix of styles @elferny adding a variety of percussive elements to match both lyrical cues and to add texture @ciscodimas performing playful yet inspiring trumpet solos 🎺 And of course, our Pero, Like (Choir): @julietadelsolmusic @cloverintheweeds @hello_its_saraa @nathalienodarse @roman_andtheprey @isadreamseveryday @marcyplayssbass @schapiro.natalie @eddygatoe @stray_kitten0 @artist.anandaazal Robin @miumiu____ We can’t wait for you to hear the finished song!!!

Mark the date: April 30, 2026 @babybho & @alexalashmusic submitted to the @elevatemiamitogether Elevated Tracks Miami anthem competition. Since April 1, once we found out the deadline was extended, we knew it was our chance to make something really wonderful together. It’s pero like, Miami af. Once April started, we met to puzzle and craft music over the course of multiple sessions over two weeks, then spent the better course of the last two weeks in and out of @shacknorth with @elferny . This included last minute lyric changes, trumpet solos that had us in our feels (and omg the voice note came to LIFE), a group of friends old & new who took a chance on us, and a very Miami rain storm with the most memorable videos. Tomorrow we’ll finally be able to share some of the music clips, but for now, we just wanted to say how excited we are about our submission, and to say a huge thanks to the EIGHTEEN additional collaborators who we’ll be tagging in the photo and in the comments below.
