This past week I took my alotted 3 minutes of public speaking time to have the City of Hialeah - Municipal Government council, city and citizens in the chamber and online to have an incredibly long 3 min of silence in honor of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti the two American citizens killed / executed by our government in public and plain view.
The silence was defining. For those of you who have ever experienced a moment of silence that lasts 3 minutes. It is incredibly long. you can feel the room breathing as humans have to deal with their thoughts, surrounding and energy.
I will add that in an environment where I am in the political and philosophical minority everyone was respecttul and compliant.

His “DONT SAY GAY” bullshit crumbled in court. In our city @hialeahkicksass , actually in #southflorida we have these gems called #granizado the person who dispenses them is el #granizero these are basically a spanish Mr. Misty like you used to get at #dairyqueen They are like a #snocone meets a #slurpee but latin. Roughly equivalent to the difference from #pizza to #cubanpizza Well this morning it was stationed in the #lafitness parking lot here in #hialeah on #49thsteet #la49 but sadly it wasn’t open for business. This staple of the #sofla community was lonely. I now have the uncontrollable #craving #antojito for a red granizado. So I figured I would not suffer alone and post these images in hopes of dragging some of you into my temporary carving hell. Don’t get me wrong these colorful creations are cold and tasty, sweeter than sugar and syrupy to the point of nauseam and they don’t really quench thirst or cool you down in a real way.
