Spring has sprung at Earthborn Farm.
This week’s projects include mulching berms, building cages to keep the deer off the fruit trees, and planting new additions to the food forest! We have olives, grapes, and blackberries going in.
I wish you could smell how every daffodil’s scent is distinct.

SUNDAY 2/19 DREAM OF TREES AFD MUSIC BENEFIT 🌳🌲🌟
🤍The 19th-26th of Feb is solidarity week for the Atlanta Forest Defenders. Come to Dream of Trees at Brick Aux for some beautiful live music and some open mic time. There will be zines, patches, crafts, and seed distribution! Plus food and drink! @nola_latte hosting! Come thru! 🤍
The Weelaunee People Park, an 85 acre forest in the middle of the city of Atlanta, is under threat of being demolished by the Atlanta Police Foundation and turned into a mock city for police to practice urban warfare against POC. This would be the largest police training facility in the country, used by police departments all over the world to further militarize their police forces. There are a diversity of tactics being used to resist this develpment, including activists staying in the area 24/7 and using their bodies to defend the forest. Recently a forest defender named Tortuguita was tragically killed by police, the first environmental activist to be murdered by cops in the United States. We will be raising money that will go to support people who are on the ground, raising resources for them to continue putting themselves on the line to resist this development.

$5-10 Suggested Donation. Cash or venmo. nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
