In Each Other’s Keeping puts on display our relation to others: the network, the social fabric, the woven solidarity between artists, the mutual aid, and ultimately, friendship. The making of the exhibition is a form of collaborative hive-building, while the making of the works consists of gestures of touch and care, where the material bears witness to the artist’s hands.

Bukki A Adeyemo is a Nigerian British multidisciplinary artist with a deep interest in examining the residues of human experience by mapping traces of presence, displacement and absence - reflecting the transient nature of memory and identity. Working predominantly with mixed media, Adeyemo is drawn to the act of deconstruction - stretching objects and concepts to the limit, materially and metaphorically, allowing vulnerability to be seen and felt in the process.
Niamh Hannaford is an Irish artist whose practice is formed by an obsession with materials and their cloaked values. Her work unfolds slowly, though building considered collections. By (re)assembling these materials she creates sculptures which are precariously held together by subtle text, forms of language, and playful scatterings. Echoing the resilient potential of repetitious effort as - a breath - a stretch - a break - for those tense of body.
Yen-Chao Lin is a Taipei-born Montreal-based artist. Having grown up in a multifaith family, she is interested in spirituality, divination arts, and alchemy. A natural history enthusiast and an avid collector, she gathers specimens of mineral, botanical, and industrial origins, investigating material history, objecthood, and folklore. Her practice incorporates various craft techniques, such as vitreous enameling, metalsmithing, and glass; culminating in installations, sculptures, and experimental films
