Helen Frankenthaler, the woman in the men’s club of Jackson Pollock & the Abstract Expressionists, went further. She freed colours. Tracey Emin’s retrospective “A Second Life” at the Tate Modern: what a show. Everything appears fragile and fearless at the same time. Pain, anger, love and memory transformed into form. Surprisingly, even in its raw self-confession, some works sparkle with humor and hope. I loved the bronzes! @tate@traceyeminstudio@boleromagazin
The Blue House, a whimsical architectural rebellion by Sean Griffith. It’s cartoonish, pop, postmodern, it’s “an office-block with a house attached”, (S. Griffith), a house in a house like a Russian doll @poetic_walls@michellejeannettenicol
