Pics of my recent painting (+some ceramics) exhib at @herdubreid_sfk it was a massive honor to get to show new works for the first time in ages PAINTING FOREVERRRR XXX Thank you thank you thank you for all who came and made it possible 💋🌞🎉🛸 FORCE//FORM Beloved, we met at the campfire before we were born, and soon we will meet again. These works were mostly made crouching on the ground, late at night, while my pregnant spouse sleeps in the other room. In many ways this body of work is my attempt to reconcile a family bound not by blood or law, but by love - what it means to give form to a spirit via force of cosmic longing rather than genetic threads - an alchemic exploration of Queerness, parenthood and the relationship between the material realm and the more than.
