@omnipollo fan. I’ve loved the creativity and playfulness in the brewing, the beautiful attitude and of course the wonderful art work around the brand: unique, distinctive, bold, it’s own style.
@karlgrandin , responsible for that side of things, is for me, one of the best there is.
So when I took on marketing responsibities at the
@fountainofyouth.gold I just had to reach out to them to see if they would be open to doing something together. Could coconut water fit into the brewing process? They said JA! And the result is HARD PINEAPPLE, a tropical, boozy summer crusher brewed with Fountain of Youth coconut water, real pineapple, touch of coconut cream and key lime.
Getting to work with Karl on the label was a creative ambition realised for me. The idea we settled on was inspired by Thai amulets, in this case the Tiger. Karl did his magic on the Tiger and I was honoured to contribute a little monkey peeking out from behind the fangs.
In my humble opinion, one thing the NoLo drinks category could learn from the craft beer scene is their openness to collaborate. So many NoLo brands seem a bit stiff to me, a bit precious about their own product. But things get interesting when lines get blurred and stuff get mixed up. It’s fun and great for the customer too!
