I’ve been wanting to share my story for so long, and finally here I am:
Dear over-thinker creative get over yourself and just share your art. I totally got this idea from @inspiredtowrite by the way, because honestly, I needed a reminder too.
This video you’re watching right now is an art process that I made back in 2020. I never shared it because I thought it turned out kinda “meh.” and I feel like it’s “not good enough.” I don’t even know “good enough” for who, or what standard I’m even referring to. What I realized now is mediocre art is part of the creative journey. We have to make it, a lot, learn from it, and embrace it.
So, here I am in 2023, and I’ve finally decided to push past my insecurities and share this 3 years old piece with you all. The message in this mini drawing, “You (and your art) are worth it.” I’m starting to truly believe in it, but it’s hard to do so if I’m stuck worrying about the “good enough” quality of my work
Posting and sharing this helps me learn to break free from my own doubts and judgments. I believe that my creativity deserves to be seen and embraced. So just share your art ❤️
