‘AFA’ was initially tracked at @circlechangestudio with @goodtroyedward at the helm in August 2025.
Subsequent mixing and post-production was done by me from my a room filled with all my things, with Greg and Meredith flying additional parts in remotely.
Stick around for the headphone earworms, a peppered collage of a demo of this song from over 12 years ago and some odds and ends because ending a song is never easy for me.

It’s my favourite time of the year! @chordblossom end of year lists! As Aaron says himself it’s only January so it still counts! I’ve had a really lovely year working away and I am delighted as always to see so many of the projects that I’ve been involved with, either sitting in the mastering chair or the pedal steel chair, or even sitting with one cheek on each chair! It's a real pleasure to be a part of all this great music and be a part of a fantastic music community! Thanks everyone for asking me to do things! <3

I've been very bad at posting on this account this year. I'm happy to put it down to the fact that I've done so much mastering it was genuinely hard to find the time to make a post. I'm delighted with the work I've been able to do this year and the brilliant people I've gotten to work with! And that yous are all doing so well! 1.4 Million streams from all of yous collectively! Did you know you don't need a license to release a cover song on streaming platforms as long as you don't release it in the U.S.A., Mexico, Canada, Japan, India or Pakistan because their licensing laws are different. Also if it's been more than 70 years since the death of the person who wrote the song you don't need a license at all because now it's in the public domain. I think its neat but I do love boring facts so I would think it's neat in fairness to me fair play to me hank u
