Last week
@frnds.table celebrated its 3rd supper club! 🌶️
When I started Frnds Table, I didn’t exactly know what direction I wanted to take this or what I was doing at times, but I did know I wanted to create a space where people (myself included) were completely pushed out of their comfort zones; from trying new foods to making new friends.
The heart of Frnds is centered around community, conversation and design, and I’ve used food as the catalyst to connect how food can truly shape us culturally. Chicago can be a hard city to navigate as a creative especially for black and brown creatives and I’m incredibly proud that Frnds Table can be one of many spaces for our community.
