Awfully Pretty
Next up we have RI’s own Awfully Pretty! Being local to the area I have been able to catch them a few times in the last year. And their live show is just as energetic as the recordings.
After seeing them open for a stacked lineup including Olth and In Loving Memory… last November, I reached out and said that if we could help them in any way to please let us know. In January they hit us with this album full of new material, and while it hits what they were going for in the past there was a huge maturity in the sound on this new album.
This might be the first Vamonos release with like actual clean vocals (only in one song really). It brushes upon so many genres and creates its own thing. The vocals and guitar work on here really stand out. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. 50 CDs will have a hand stamped new AP logo on them with in house DIY jewel cases. 10 additional CDs will be custom painted and house inside a custom wooden box set.
The online copies will be available on Friday 3/29 at 3PM EST
We will have half of the run online that day and the band will have the other half at shows.
