A VOID x Damp Matches + Ziggy Waldren are coming to Voodoo Daddy’s on June 20th!
A VOID are a London-based alt-grunge trio, born in Paris and raised on chaos, distortion and DIY spirit. Frontwoman Camille Alexander leads with razor-sharp vocals and jagged guitars, backed by bassist Aaron Hartmann and a rotating cast of drummers to match their explosive energy. Known for their electric live shows and tongue-in-cheek, emotionally charged songwriting, they’ve built a cult following across the UK and Europe - recently supporting Indochine at the sold-out Accor Arena.
With a unique mash-up of alt-rock and anthemic indie, Damp Matches deliver a sound just as at home in a stadium as it is in a grimy small-town mosh pit. Big, punchy riffs and thunderous drums set the backdrop for frontwoman Helena Lewis’ soaring vocals, with gritty growls from bassist Will Calvert. They’ve built a reputation for raucous, high-energy shows and are definitely ones to watch on the UK rock circuit.
