Moon Mama is out today.
Can’t believe I’m finally letting people listen to it lol
I started writing in March of 2020 on a loop pedal in my sisters empty apartment after she fled the city cause of Covid. Some ideas were from even earlier and took so many iterations to figure out what they wanted to be but that’s beside the point.
At times I questioned if I wanted anyone to hear it at all, but now I’m like, honestly whatevs. I guess sometimes you have to let people in.
Speaking of which…
Thank you to the musicians that helped me translate my ideas into something real. I’m so grateful for the ways you played with the music with such kindness and care.
Also shoutout to the friends who encouraged me to keep going when I was being a stubborn little b*tch about it
