Design for the 2025 graduate exhibition of the Faculty of Design at HIT, Holon Institute of Technology. The visual identity is built around a rough, bold black and white lettering system that embraces a wild, anti-typographic approach. A bilingual alphabet was developed as a flexible set of letterforms, intentionally resisting conventional forms and structures. The system allows the designers to treat letters as amorphic, stain-like shapes, graphic matter rather than fixed symbols. The typography functions as an expressive presence rather than a purely linguistic one. Designed by @avihaim @sessleradam

Curated by @yasharozov & @ivrybaumgarten Picnic - What happens when the innocent gesture of sitting in the shade becomes a charged structure — a sign of presence and erasure, of belonging and exclusion? Instead of sitting down to eat, we are invited to ask: Who is welcomed? Who is present? Who is missing? A picnic is not just a moment of leisure; it’s a collective snapshot, a fantasy of belonging — and often, a form of distraction. Here, the picnic falls apart, collapses onto the ground, and begins to examine itself. This is no longer just a picnic — it becomes an inquiry into the picnic as a cultural script: into soft deception, curated comfort, and the everyday objects that quietly shape our social spaces.

שמחות לארח החודש בפינת ׳ספר בתהליך׳ את האמנית לי ינור. "בהליכת הבוקר שלי כשאני מגיעה לטיילת, מצד שמאל נפתח אליי קו האופק בין הים והשמים שרואים מיפו. אני רואה אותו כל פעם מחדש הרחק שם. החלל הגדול שואב את המבט שלי בנשימה רחבה ל"שם" כל פעם מחדש. חשבתי על אבא שלי, שהפליג במשך שנים, רב חובל שחי על פני כל כך הרבה ימים עם אופקים מכל צד בתוך מסע לקראת משהו, לקראת קו שתמיד נשאר רחוק. המחשבות [האלה] מציפות אצלי תמונות כמו זרמי תודעה, כמו הבלחות, ללא רצף של יום, לילה, עבר ועתיד. הים הפך לשדה, למסע, לנופים, לסוסים שמושכים בתנופה לבלתי נודע.״ הספר החדש Come About פורס יצירותיה בעשורים האחרונים, הנעים בין צילומי סטילס, מיצבי וידיאו ומיצגים, והוא כולל יצירות קודמות בשילוב דימויים מפרויקטים במעבדות מחקר במכון ויצמן, כחלק מהעיסוק המתמשך של ינור בזיכרונות ותנועה בזמן. הספר משלב כתיבה אוצרותית, לצד מאמרים ממדעי המוח, האגרונומיה, והשירה, בתמהיל שנועד להרחיב את נקודת המבט על צילומיה, ועל האמנות החזותית בימינו. לי ינור, היא צלמת ואמנית וידאו, ילידת חיפה (1963). בעלת תואר שני באמנות חזותית באוניברסיטה PARIS VIII , פריז, ותואר ראשון בבצלאל האקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב, ירושלים; ו-Pratt Institute בניו יורק. מלמדת בפקולטה לאמנויות בסמינר הקיבוצים בתל אביב. זוכת פרס Coreografo Elettronico לוידאו, ופרס קונסטנטינר לצילום ממוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות (2002); סרטה "קפה עם פינה" (2006) עם הכוריאוגרפית פינה באוש, הוקרן בפסטיבלים ומוזיאונים רבים. ביום שבת ה-7.12 יערך בתערוכה הנוכחית של ינור, come about, שמקבלת בספר מקום נרחב, פרפורמנס מאת הכריאוגרף אייל דדון ובשיתוף רקדני להקת ענבל, בשני סבבים: 11:00, 12:30. כולן.ם מוזמנות.ים! צילומי הצבה: דניאל חנוך. שאר הדימויים לי ינור - Come About. עריכה וטקסט: תמרה אברמוביץ’, מעצב: אביחי מזרחי. כותבים: תמרה אברמוביץ', דרורית גור אריה, ברברה פולה, פרופ' רפאל מלאך (מכון ויצמן למדע), פרופ' אברהם לוי (מכון ויצמן למדע).

“Leaving Behind” A joint project with Neil Nenner @neil_nenner , Galit Shvo @galitshvo , Yonatan Ventura. ​The exhibition premiering at JDW @jlmdesignweek , Sep 2024, explores the emotional and psychological tension between choice and escape in the face of uncertain futures. The exhibition presents six works that blur the boundaries between domestic and maritime archetypes. Through objects caught in states of transition the work reflects on the moments of hesitation, indecision, and potential that arise when facing the unknown.
