So incredibly blessed to be musical directing and performing with @danielcaesar on his 2026 Son of Spergy World Tour. Not sure how I got here but I can’t express my gratitude towards the team to trust @tianakruskic and me with this responsibility. Definitely didn’t see that coming but I guess bringing out maximum Soul Power with our beloved NPO @ifabird prepared us best to bring our love for deep cutting and hard hitting live performances on the worlds arena stages.

I saw @danielcaesar first @the.tinydesk.concert 8y ago and I still remember how mesmerized I was. The melodies, the lyrics, the performance, the aura… Just peak talent, a generational artist. I sat down to study his compositions, thinking „one day…“ not actually believing it.
8 years later me and wifey @tianakruskic not just performing with him but doing musical direction is still beyond comprehension. Every note hits just deep everytime, not one miss, technically and emotionally. Each time I feel like I’m more impressed by the pure talent. Best songwriter of our generation.

When I saw Daniel Caesars Tiny Desk Concert in 2018 I was so inspired trying to write songs like this. His melodies and lyrics make him the best songwriter of our generation. 7 years later i showed him some of these songs and we ended up working on this contemporary masterpiece.
Early last year our house in Germany nearly burned down in a huge chemical fire. Those few weeks where we thought we lost our beloved home and everything we owned we happened to work on this album all over the world until we finally found out that the house is still standing.
That was definitely a turbulent time in our live as a young family but thanks to Daniels hospitality and the Soul Power we came out of it with something beautiful - Son of Spergy

Had an amazing time in NYC with @samaracyn on @thedailyshow . The song came out of the very first session I had after moving to LA earlier this year. I loved all the little melodies, so reworking it for the live performance was a beautiful challenge.
