If I’m honest, I started 2025 in a much more cynical place than I ended it. It would be fair to say my fear far exceeded my optimism. At the top of the year, there were many things I said I wouldn’t, or couldn’t, do— even if deep down I wanted to do those things more than anything.
By some miracle (or simply because the powers that be have a sense of humor), I am here, on the last day of that same year, relishing in having done those exact things I said I’d never do. That being said, I feel less inclined to try to convey those things in a 20-slide carousel than I do to share this.
2025— you were nothing short of chaotic, ruthless even. But in your chaos, you showed me how much is actually very possible & reminded me of the enormous power of everyday choices. So, on the eve of yet another year full of twists, turns, & choices to be made…this is my prayer.
