Book Review: A Heart Divided by @author_uno

There are novels that you want to quickly finish because of how good they are, and there are some that you know deep down that rushing it is not the best option. You would need to settle down to devour the entire book to your heart content, mincing pages by pages. Trying to brace your heart for what's about to come.
This book follows a story of a talented author, Mahira Lawal, who has the worst encounter with men. Very bad luck if I must say and the man who's supposed to be Mr. Right is a forbidden fruit. Engaging with him means wrecking a friendship that's worth more than gold, but the heart wants what it wants.
As tricky as this book is, it is a ride I certainly enjoyed. Emotions spilling here and there and be-warned, if you can not handle such heightened emotions, then do not pick up this book. I love her prose, I love how she expresses their emotions and how beautifully it is written. She explores different topics, and somehow, I could see myself in places that's been in this book.
A very solid read, Uno take your crown, you deserve it.
