Change isn’t the disruption. It’s the baseline. The world is shifting. You’re shifting. Your priorities, energy, and capacity aren’t what they were a year ago and pretending otherwise is what creates friction, burnout, and frustration. If the only constant is change, then your rules get to change too. The way you work. The standards you hold yourself to. The behaviors you keep repeating out of habit instead of intention. You’re not meant to live by outdated rules in a life that’s already moved on. The real work is noticing what’s no longer aligned and giving yourself permission to choose differently. What’s one rule you’re ready to rewrite this year? #alignment #selfleadership #personalgrowth embracing change | identity shifts | intentional living | energy awareness | letting go | redefining success | capacity | growth mindset

Still taking this in. I received a package from @jpmorgan congratulating I Can Fit That In on being selected for their NextList 2026 and the plaque was personally signed by Jamie Dimon and Mary Callahan Erdoes. That level of recognition feels deeply meaningful. This book was built from real life - the seasons of pressure, the moments of misalignment, and the small rituals that changed everything. To see the work honored in this way is something I don’t take lightly. Thank you, J.P. Morgan, for the acknowledgement and for championing conversations around focus, presence, culture, and leadership in this era of transformation. #NextList2026 #ICanFitThatIn

It’s officially here. ✨ I Can Fit That In is out in the world. This project started as a simple concept surrounding our appetite for constant striving and more at the expense of ourselves and what matters to us. And this book is for every high-achiever, caretaker, leader, and do-it-all human who’s ever thought, “I just need to get through this week” only to realize that week turns into years. This isn’t another productivity book. It’s a roadmap for reclaiming your time, your energy, and your peace. It’s about trading hustle for alignment, routines for rituals, and burnout for something much richer—presence. Inside, you’ll find the exact tools and reflections that helped me stop runnning on fumes, coping mechanisms and survival strategies and start creating a life that actually fits me. The same tools I now teach leaders and teams to use in their own transformations. If you’ve been craving more clarity, calm, and meaning in your days this is your invitation to begin. 📖 I Can Fit That In is available now. There are times that are exciting and also intense. That dichotomy exists, not either/or but both/and. This particular day near my book launch began the way I start most days for the last decade: homemade coffee, silence, no phone, and setting one intention for how I want to feel today. I had an early interview at CBS News Chicago, and I couldn’t help thinking how years ago, this day would’ve started with scrolling and rushing and nervousness. Letting urgency set the tone. Going straight into performance mode. And letting anxious thoughts of what could go wrong get the best of me. You know the feelings well right? And do you know what it’s like when you let yourself slow down, enter with ease, and think of what could go right instead? The difference now isn’t that life is less busy. It’s that you can have a new internal rhythm. It’s available but like anything it takes effort. Rituals don’t make your life perfect. They make your life sustainable.

Bali, March 2018, a retreat that challenged me in ways unseen at the time. It didn’t directly change me, yet the choice to invest in myself did. Even though it was scary AF to do. Saying yes to myself and to the experience was no small feat. I arrived depleted more than words can define. We spent four days connecting, reflection, spiritually and energetically inquiring. One of the most memorable moments was receiving a tarot card called The Dance Unveiling. It said a situation in my life would reveal itself with greater clarity, that the picture would look different than it once did, and that the clarity would bring relief and confirmation of intuition. That message perfectly describes what I was moving through and into even though I could not yet see what I would go on to create. The incredible business, the brand, the community that would follow from me investing in myself and getting clear is unfathomable if I wouldn’t have said yes to myself. I learned at this retreat and also have developed and grown so much the last 8 years since that I know exactly how I want my very own experience to be for my community. I can’t be more excited for what I’ve created for senior women executives. It’s far from standard or traditional, and WAY more intentional, curated, thoughtful and deeply designed to create the real space and internal conditions for clarity and alignment. If you feel like you recognize yourself in that, DM me the word ALIGNMENT and I’ll send details.

What if the anxiety you feel isn’t random but information? In this episode of I Can Fit That In, I sit down with Yael Shy, professor at NYU and owner of Sefira Wellness, for a deeply honest conversation about burnout, ambition, meditation, and reconnecting with desire. Yael shares how a meditation retreat during one of the hardest seasons of her life transformed her relationship with anxiety and helped her uncover a more meaningful way to live and work. In this conversation, we explore: -why the opposite of anxiety might actually be desire -how to stop chasing achievement and start enjoying the process -small mindfulness practices that can reconnect you to yourself If you’ve been feeling stuck, burnt out, or disconnected from what really matters, this conversation is an invitation to slow down and listen for what’s calling you back to life. Watch on YouTube or listen on Spotify + Apple Podcasts.

I love this example from @angelavran , co-founder of @littlespoon . She highlights something many organizations overlook: connection doesn’t happen by accident, it’s designed. At Little Spoon, they’ve created a team ritual called “Spooners Lunch Break.” It’s a dedicated space for employees to step away from the pace of work and simply connect, to get to know each other beyond roles and responsibilities, and to bring a little lightness into the day. What stands out to me isn’t just the activity but the intention behind it. These moments: Build real understanding between people Strengthen culture in a tangible way Create space for people to show up as humans, not just employees Culture isn’t what you say it is. It’s what you consistently create space for. And often, it’s the simplest rituals that have lasting impact.

A wonderful Mother’s Day doing something I love with my greatest loves (minus Craig who took the photos but did contribute a lot to the 5 hours of effort) 💪❤️🐞🥰

Life will always demand your time and attention. If you don’t set boundaries internally and in your life, busyness will decide how you show up. That’s why I talk about energy stewardship - learning to manage your focus and attention with intention, instead of living like life is happening to you. Self awareness isn’t overanalyzing everything. It’s noticing the small moments that shape your day: -how you react when something goes slightly wrong -how fast you spiral over a minor frustration -how quickly your mood shifts when you feel rushed Those reactions matter because they shape your energy - and your energy shapes your experience. You have more control than you think. energy stewardship | intentional living | focus and attention | self awareness | boundaries | presence | mindset shift | emotional regulation

The strongest high performers I know aren’t calm because their life is calm. They’re steady because they’ve built practices that keep them grounded and they’ve trained their mind. Not through huge routines. Rather through small rituals: -a phone-free start to the day -a reset between tasks -a walk that clears your mind -a boundary that protects your energy Because when you’re always “on,” even good things start to feel heavy or monotonous. Success feels different when you’re present for it. What’s one thing that helps you stay steady when life gets overwhelming?
