I'm only just reflecting on the last two months - and posting a bit late..
I was in Abu Dhabi during the start of the situation and my worry was the borders would close. Over COVID I was stuck away from Joe and instinctually felt like driving to the Red Sea project where he works - solo - over three days, to get away for Ramadan.
I didn't take many photos, Saudi however, is an amazing place to explore if you have the time. I took a route through Riyadh and Medina but stayed on the outskirts of the cities I passed through. Landscapes are epic, the country is so friendly, and I felt safe as a single woman driving through the whole of Saudi.
(Just make sure you top up on petrol if you take the internal truck roads, and bring cash as some POS machines only accept local cards).
Right now I'm on my way back to Abu Dhabi- another post will be up shortly, this time with more photos and more exploring ! 🫰

So proud of you bunny @jofrwabu .
For anyone who wanted to know what my husband Joe is up to, he's in Saudi making big things happen with the mountain biking at the Red Sea Project. Proper Indiana Jones moment this is... It makes me so happy he's out there doing what he loves.
See you in a few weeks Joe ❤️. He'll probably also tell me to take this post down, so until then enjoy 🤣
