Audi - The Quest.
We partnered once again with @audi to bring their Q range to life through a story of identity, emotion, and discovery.
At its heart, this campaign is about more than our choice of motor vehicle, it’s about people, places, and the unseen threads that connect us.
The Quest represents the freedom to search, to explore, and to lose yourself in the landscapes and rhythms of life. It’s a celebration of motion, of journeys both inner and outer, and of the moments that quietly shape who we are becoming.
Over ten days on the road, our team travelled across Spain capturing a story that celebrates freedom, connection, and the beauty of the unknown.

Today, we officially step into Auteur Studios.
Since forming our partnership under BeVisuals, we’ve had the privilege of working across the full spectrum of productions, from lean three-person crews to six-figure international campaigns with global teams. Through this process, we’ve experienced firsthand the strengths and the friction of both ends.
The speed and intimacy of small crews. The scale and structure of large productions.
And we’ve learned where creativity thrives, and where it can get lost.
With Auteur Studios, we’re intentionally positioning ourselves right in the middle. Cinema quality, executed by a lean, world class crew of artists. We keep decision-making tight, and most importantly, we stay close to the passion of the craft.
Our intention will always remain the same: quality over quantity. We create story-led, brand-driven films. In a world of evolving soulless AI generation, we want to tell handcrafted, human lead stories, directed by true artists and visionaries.
In the process of building Auteur Studios, we’ve been genuinely overwhelmed by the demand and early support, including attention from some of the world’s leading brands who want to walk this journey with us and bring these human lead stories to life in new ways. Throughout this process of building this agency, we’ve learned so much about this industry and the creative process within it. We believe there are not enough people building in public, sharing knowledge as founders and opening up about their processes. So alongside our studio, we’ll be introducing the Auteur Circle, our community arm dedicated to eduction, mentorship, digital assets and sharing the process behind our craft.
We’re taking everything we’ve learnt to get to where we are today, everything we wished someone would of taught us, and turning it into something that empowers the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers to operate independently, confidently, and creatively. Bear with us, as this is still a long journey ahead and we’re just getting started. But we look forward to sharing every step of the way. - Dan & Jay
At the beginning of the year, ahead of the Australian Open, Auteur Studios teamed up with rising tennis star @eva.lys to create a cinematic spec piece focused on the mindset behind elite performance.
Off court, Eva has an infectious personality. But the moment training begins, everything changes. Locked in. Every shot hit with precision, intensity, and purpose.
This short concept was created by @jay.bevs during his off-time, a reminder that spec projects can be just as creatively fulfilling and important as client work.

Campaign frames for @mysamsonite
Earlier this year, we worked with Samsonite capturing a campaign celebrating human connection and a shared appreciation for the outdoors for their new Ecodiver collection.
We leaned entirely into natural light and handheld motion for this one to create imagery that felt immersive and emotionally raw.

LSKD - 1% BETTER JAN ’26
At the beginning of this year, We worked with @lskd to kick off 2026 by launching a video to refresh their mission statement, reinforcing the idea that last year is behind you, and it’s what you do now that counts, setting a strong tone for the year ahead.
From there, we worked closely with their wide range of athletes, capturing different disciplines and perspectives as a nod to the community that lives and breathes this every day.

Lens breakdown for our collaboration with @audi
When considering our production with Audi, we needed reliable, high quality glass that wasn’t going to slow us down when covering multiple scenes per day.
That’s what led us to the @dzofilm Vespid primes. The full 8-lens set, paired with a few specialty pieces like the Laowa 1:1 macro, gave us complete coverage across the entire shoot.
We’re super happy with how this choice played out, and look forward to working more with @dzofilm cinema lenses on our future productions.

For this launch campaign with Phase, we avoided the standard product walkthrough and focused on a situation people can actually relate to.
Rather than the traditional approach of walking through features, we built a cinematic, relatable narrative around a single protagonist, using his day-to-day distractions to naturally frame the role of the product.
The intention was to integrate the product, grounding it in real moments, subtle details, and a perspective people can actually connect with.

A lot of what makes a film feel cinematic has nothing to do with what you see.
Subtle atmospheric sound design and carefully layered whooshes, hits and risers can completely transform a sequence from flat visuals into something immersive and emotionally driven. It’s all about world building.
Literally 50% of what you’re experiencing when watching a film is what you are hearing, so it deserves just as much attention as what you see.
Here are a few key tips to building your scene.
• Start with a base atmosphere
Every scene should have a foundation. Whether it’s distant traffic, wind, room tone, or subtle environmental noise, this is what gives your scene weight and realism before anything else is added.
• Layer with intention, not excess
It’s not about stacking sounds for the sake of it. Each layer should serve a purpose, adding depth, guiding attention, or enhancing movement. The goal is subtlety, not noise.
• Use whooshes to shape motion
Whooshes aren’t just transitions, they’re a tool to emphasise movement and energy. When timed right, they can make even the smallest action feel deliberate and cinematic.
• Create contrast and space
Silence is just as important as sound. Pulling everything back before a key moment can make the next hit land twice as hard.
• Think emotionally, not technically
Don’t just ask “what sound fits here?”, ask “what should this moment feel like?” Let emotion drive your sound choices.
• World build, don’t decorate
The goal isn’t to make things sound cool, it’s to make them feel believable. When done right, your audience shouldn’t notice the sound design… they should just feel immersed in it.
It’s these small, often overlooked details that separate something that looks good… from something that feels complete.
