It’s never too late to start. Looking back is easy. Looking forward is impossible. If you feel like it’s too late, or you’re afraid of starting, here’s my story of how I didn’t even own a camera until I was 28, and the path of how I got to where I am today. Comment ā€œSTARTā€ to get lessons, free guides, and more to help you on your journey and have me in your corner.

Comment ā€œSTORYā€ to get the storytelling mini guide. Un-gate-keeping two powerful storytelling strategies that I use in all of my videos, and by giving you a behind the scenes look at the strategy that goes into creating the short stories you see here. thank me later. Also, lowkey became a Jedi for this video šŸ„‹ šŸ˜‚

When everyone is telling you that you’re doing so well, or at least from the outside, it’s easy to start doubting who you are or worse, forgetting what you truly want... I remember imagining a different life for myself but also telling family and friends that I didn’t know if I could start all over again by trying something different, it was ā€œsaferā€ to just keep teaching and stay in my lane. Around my 28th birthday, I started telling myself It was too late to try anyway and that I had no skills and wouldn’t ever be good enough. But a voice telling me ā€œyou’ll regret never giving it a shotā€ kept repeating, it never shut up and eventually i said ā€œfuck itā€ I’m doing it. Buying a camera and just starting was the scariest yet best decision I could make and I’m really happy I did it. Whatever dreams you have put off or tried to ignore, here’s a reminder that it’s never too late to start!! I also write a newsletter with stories and lessons. If you’d like to get it comment ā€œSTARTā€ and I’ll send it to you.

I used to think I had to constantly be travelling or doing something ā€œcoolā€ to film anything good. But the truth was I just didn’t know how to make the most basic of life interesting. I’m on a mission to help people capture and see the beauty of the everyday ā€œboringā€ things in our life, because that’s where we live most of the time. šŸ«¶šŸ¼āœØ ā˜•ļø Comment ā€œLISTā€ for a free mini guide and gear list.

I used to hesitate filming myself because I thought it would suck, my life is too boring, I have nothing valuable to share or that no one would find it interesting. How wrong I was. Im also hosting a cohort! Comment ā€œ Make it happenā€ and I’ll send you the details for my film yourself live online cohort. It’s 4 weeks and saves you years of figuring things out alone! Heads up though it’s closing soon, after that it’s the waitlist. Make it, even if it’s bad.
