It’s been years… since around 2011 more or less… ups and downs, more consistent at times than others… but I’ve never really let go of Muay Thai and kickboxing.
If there’s one thing this teaches you, it’s humility.
Discipline.
And that if you don’t put in the work, you don’t get better… period.
There’s no hack, no shortcut, no “I woke up today and I’m suddenly good.”
And thinking about that gives me a certain kind of satisfaction… because it reminds me this wasn’t luck. It was time. It was consistency. It was failing over and over again.
And it’s the same in real life…
Nothing great happens overnight. Nothing.
It’s showing up even when you don’t feel like it.
It’s having a strong mind… but also an open one, because you learn from people ahead of you… and from people just starting too.
So yeah… don’t get comfortable.
Don’t stay stuck.
Move. Learn. Grow. Repeat.
