In many ways, our country and much of the world is in turmoil. Personally, 2025 was one of the best years of my life. Making massive, healthy changes and taking my mental and physical health seriously has been an incredible blessing.
I’m beyond grateful for everyone who made this year so special. From throwing so many amazing events with @tabordance , to building and strengthening friendships, getting my groove back behind the decks to having my whole family together for the first time in ages for my brother’s wedding. Moments like these remind me that community is what truly matters. And I’m proud of the love and effort I’ve poured into ours when we needed it most.
Thank you for being on this road with me. I genuinely appreciate each one of you who helped make this year so meaningful. Let’s do it again even better next year!

Live recording of my set @ REALM on 11/26/25 is up on SoundCloud. This venue is sweet, supper happy for PDX that it exists. The vibes at this party were immaculate and all the DJs crushed. The vibe I was personally going for with this one was opener vibes but not boring and still true to my style. Big thanks to all the giraffes in the crowd and to REALM for having us out! Enjoy!
💃🏽✨ KEEP PORTLAND DANCING! ✨🪩

The recording from my performance on the Cosmic Drip stage at Cascade Equinox Festival 2025 is up on my Soundcloud. Link in bio.
I had so much fun playing this one and further exploring this style of music. So much nostalgia for the wubs, 20 year old baby giraffe me would be proud. I missed some cues and was slow to beatmatch a couple times (at least I wasn't using sync) due to how much I was dancing. My set also got cut a tad short so I didn't get to play a couple of my favs but am still happy with the mix overall :).
Thanks @cascade_equinox for inviting the @tabordance crew out to takeover the Cosmic Drip stage. We had a blast. Shoutout to @katriiin_alter.ego for MC'ing. Def made it feel like a Tabor party. Additional shoutouts to @marcus.funkhouser for getting the recordings, and to all my friends who danced with me. Especially @plurjam for surprising me with a giraffe totem and enough giraffe ears for everyone 🦒.
Very stoked for the upcoming @cascade_equinox . For us @tabordance this festival has become the celebration of the end of a successful park season. Historically vibes have been through the roof & rising. We are going to send it @ the Tabor Dance showcase Saturday on the Cosmic Drip Stage featuring @undsclsdj ,@rainvanhecke_purplerain and myself.
Personally I have been cooking up more of the same style I played on the mountain and am excited to share.
There are so many other artists on this lineup I am excited for though, just to name a few:@gothxgrandpa@djkristabasis@marvsattacks@krm.moussa I am def forgetting others.
Weekend Passes and Single day tickets available. See you there! 🦒

My DJ set from from the August 13th edition of Tabor Dance is up on Soundcloud, link in bio. Thank you so much to everyone who donated their time to produce such an epic dance and to those on the dancefloor who danced with me. I had a great time 10/10 would reccomend.
❤️ 🦒 ❤️
* I did not actually record the set but recreated it today from my USBs memory and added a handful of songs I would have played next at the end. I did a couple things better on the mountain and different things better in this version so p much the same.

I am very excited to share the new sound I have been working on this summer! For my upcoming gigs I am stepping away from my techno purism to go back to my roots with multi genre, high energy, bass heavy bangers. The vibe is crowd pleasers while still underground, raunchy wubs with some techy trippy tendrils still coming through.
I wanted to share a little bit about my music journey for the PDX peeps. I started DJing in 2010 back in California after my first real exposure to electronic music at the Root Society dome, Burning Man 2009. Breaks were my first love, but I soon dove into bass music playing dubstep, future bass, and more under a different alias.
With that project, I performed at venues like Lightning in a Bottle on the bass music stage, across Burning Man and many renegades, parties, and private festivals. My first time playing in Oregon was at S.O.A.K where that year my Burning Man camp was the official night stage. I played barefoot in the mud for 10 hours straight (it poured that year, and it was magical).
Later, I fell for house and techno partially thanks to Desert Hearts in its early days in Apple Valley and Los Coyotes. I retired my bass alias and created August Scout named after my handle on the DMT Nexus forum (those are stories for another day) to focus on production and 4x4 grooves. I also launched Abstract Habitats, an events LLC, which taught me a ton even if the financial risk limited how far I could go with it. I then moved to Oregon and after some years spending too much energy on a career that didn’t spark joy, I drifted from music. But thanks to Mount Tabor Dance Community, I’ve rekindled that fire, producing events I love, giving back to the PDX community, and reconnecting with the groove. I’ve gained a deep understanding of what moves the crowd during this year of work I have put into MTDC, and I’m excited to share that with you on the dancefloor. 🦒 🦒 🦒
