Michael + Matt wanted an honest portrayal of their courthouse wedding at city hall, on digital + film - “we want to lean in to an authentic expression of the venue as a functioning government building. random paperwork laying out, microphone cords in the way, posters in the background - that’s all fine. we don’t want to artificially stage the space to be anything other than what it is.” + my heart soared. the first photo here is filled with so much emotion - their dear friends as the only witnesses seeing them for the first time with so much joy + excitement from the top of the stairs on a thursday afternoon. I’m eternally grateful to have been connected with such cool, gorgeous people :,)
