[möhne seide – fréquence]
Lilian Kacel aka Möhne Seide, the Lyon-based founder of Just Breathe, works in the fields of music, dance, and visual arts and has always been drawn to interdisciplinarity. Influenced by his visual work, he engages intensively with texture as a primary compositional material, without treating it merely as ornamentation. Fréquence draws heavily on this concept. Vibrant in its ambiguity, it occupies the space between emergence and dissolution. A work that constantly turns toward and away from stasis.

[möhne seide – fréquence]
Emptiness. Sound as material in the process of forming. Voices emerge altered, fragmented — not meant to be understood, but felt as traces. The pulse is taking its shape: something alive moving through unstable space. Sitting at the threshold between presence and disappearance, between human and non-human, as if sound itself were reaching toward language, without ever fully arriving.

[peryl – phase alternations]
Phase Alternations arise where overlapping waves diverge in phase, revealing the hidden geometry of sound. A phenomenon that Peryl deliberately allows to happen — thus placing the physical and technical aspects of music at the center of attention. His new album builds on a fundamental idea of electronic music — but reimagined.
The person Peryl and his needs steps into the background during production — functioning merely as a channel that intuitively receives and transmits what long-studied machines, in dialogue with the subconscious, collectively bring to the surface.
The result is a collection of nine tracks, like emanations of precisely crafted analog synthesis. No sound returns the same way twice. This fragility fuels the urgency — a creative necessity to listen, to commit, to allow form to arrive before it dissolves again.
Rhythm is no longer on the grid, but a series of small shifts, offsets, and delays. Loops fall slightly out of sync. Deviation creates friction, and friction creates energy. Through the layered interplay of phase-driven effects — chorus, phaser, flanger — the sounds begin to
breathe in alternate rhythms. Hollows emerge. Swells fold into one another.
Challenging these swells is an essential part of Phase Alternations. Effects come alive in subtle shifts, industrial textures whisper melodies, folding and unfolding in rhythms that emerge through their own logic.
Peryl presents the result of an experiment: the sound itself chooses its form.

The third chapter of the ISO series is an ambient composition by Scoped, the head of Augmented Research. Shaped by movement and reflection, the track gathers personal impressions and emotional traces from a year marked by abundance, stillness and beauty.
Conceived as a space for reflection, the piece translates these experiences into a restrained and immersive soundscape.
All January Bandcamp revenues from “Ilu” and the rest of the Augmented Research discography will be doubled and donated to humanitarian aid in Gaza.

[healing force project – di-w: prologue]
Antonio Marini has spent over a decade exploring sound as Healing Force Project, merging electronic music with free-jazz in ways that feel spontaneous and deeply personal. Growing up in northern Italy, he taught himself through curiosity, drawn to artists like Miles Davis, Lee Perry and King Tubby – figures who shaped his understanding that music needs time to unfold and be absorbed.
This patience runs through everything he does. Since his 2010 debut on Acido Records, Marini has built a catalog across labels like Berceuse Heroïque, Eerie Records and Firecracker Recordings, with his 2016 EP „Gravitational Lensing“ marking a turning point that brought his work to wider attention. He’s played Atonal Berlin and Terraforma Italy, yet remains largely invisible online, deliberately staying outside the noise of social media.
What makes Healing Force Project compelling is this refusal to compromise or perform. Marini creates music that exists on its own terms – unconventional, exploratory, and entirely his own.

Healing Force Project – D-IW: Prologue
Antonio Marini aka. Healing Force Project sends three signals with this EP from a universe between illusory soundscapes and obscure sci-fi scenery.
„D-IW: Prologue“ works like a kaleidoscopic lens that exploits the relativity of time and grants us an introspective glimpse into scenes both past and not yet existing.
Polyrhythmic drum sequences trace their orbits through virtual space, surreal acid constructs build up and vanish again, dark dub echoes stretch the space. None of it feels forced. Marini allows the sounds their peculiarity – from this emerges a hypnotic density that pulls in all attention like a black hole.
The EP feels like a discovery from an archive that nobody created: sounds that appear simultaneously retro and futuristic. Organic, yet precise. Dark, but not cold.
For Augmented Research, this is a statement. A prologue that already functions on its own, but creates anticipation for more. No spectacle, no gesture – just three tracks that know exactly what they’re doing.

Fifth episode w/ @cynthiamatisse
For this episode, we warmly welcome Cynthia Matisse! The Weimar-based DJ is celebrated for her versatile taste in music and her ability to seamlessly weave together a wide spectrum of styles. In this set, she explores mystical realms of hypnotic rhythm, warm basslines, and dark atmospheres. With a sound hovering somewhere between DnB, ambient, and acidic soundscapes, this conceptual mix immerses us in the ritualistic pulse of contemporary electronic psychedelia.
