DRAGON TONGUE 👅🐉
For Dark Love this year, we decided that it would be appropriate for me to perform my original music live as the pre show. So on top of producing the event, communicating with all the staff & attendees, bringing an out of town artist AND creating a new chain & fire act, I curated an entire AV set to start off the night.
The set featured select music from my 2 albums, Dragon Tongue (Dark Ambient) and Aliencantations (Experimental noise), customized lighting, and a playlist of videos of myself and my community either I or Alex shot and edited. All my music can be found on streaming platforms and most of the videos are on my YouTube 🖤
To top it off, I had 3 of my dearest share their own visual, movement, and audio artwork during the act. My dragon Princess

@alex_el_veterano with vocal harmonies, and concluded with the Queen of sling, my best sponge

I can hardly believe it was so well received! I’ve only played my music for deep meditation experiences and so was worried about doing it as a show. As someone said to me … “You’re more worried about pressing a button than lighting your legs on fire on chains.” Well - that’s true ! Technology can malfunction while my body I can control.
