Sixty years ago, ATS Traffic started in a small garage in Edmonton, Alberta, with a simple purpose: to make Canada’s roads safer for the people who use them every day.
Founded by Lorne Hooper and still family owned today, that purpose has guided every step of our journey. What began as a local barricade rental shop has grown into Canada’s leading traffic safety provider, supported by more than 500 dedicated employees and branches across the country and into the Pacific Northwest.
From building Western Canada’s first barricade rental company to becoming Canada's largest 3M‑certified sign manufacturers, innovation and safety have always led the way. They are the foundation of who we are.
