One Thursday 5/7 join @emily.dalsfoist for Who Am I? (And What Does it All Mean?!) This is a unique workshop for white bodied folks to gather, ground and explore the complexity and nuance of social location/identity. The discussion will utilize a tool called the wheel of systemic power and privilege. Come with questions and a willingness to engage with issues surrounding race, gender and class. *Why a white affinity space? In offering a space specifically for folks socialized as white, the hope is to decrease the emotional labor and harm on the people of the global majority (Black, Brown, Indigenous and People of Culture) as well as offer accountability and a sense of community to white bodied folks who are willing to show up imperfectly and “unpack our own stuff” together.
