This past week I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be an artist in residence at the @fineartsworkcenter in Provincetown Massachusetts, learning Watercolor Monoprinting from the master printer @hcl_studio along side a handful of amazing and talented artist! I’m immensely grateful and in debt to this experience for pushing me to further my practice and develop new processes ❤️❤️ big love to everyone!
Posting this to announce that I’m teaching an Art class with @dcdpr once a month through September, but for some reason this damn app isn’t allowing me to post multiple links in my bio so hit me up if you’d like to sign up for a class!
Also posting this to convince myself that’s it totally fine to be perceived and no one cares anyway so I can do what I want.
Maybe for this drawing class I’ll have everyone draw me so can get used to that idea. Or we’ll draw each other. Or we will draw plants. In any case we will draw and we will perceive and be perceived.
That concludes this advertisement.
This past week I completed my first residency at the #IBeArtsInstitute in Hopewell, VA. We made over 30 works; most of which were linocuts and woodblock prints as well as many many drawings. We were locked in at the studio for 3 days straight with all kinds of historic energy embedded in the land and property to help push us forward. Thank you @ibearted for the opportunity.
