. Kingpin Deep Cuts Medford, MA September 27, 2025 This show was everything you hope a reunion show will be. Lots of old friends to catch up with, a sold out show, some new merch and a fun set from the band reuniting. I tried to figure out with Matt how we all originally met and it was most certainly through @normanbrannon somehow. Soon afterward Another Wall, Kingpin and Fountainhead all became fast friends and we would all travel to the other bands various shows around the northeast.

. Verbal Assault 
The Armory Somerville, MA September 23, 2022 If someone tells you they don’t like Verbal Assault, just turn around and walk away. Their tastes are instantly suspect and should not be trusted. Again, I was a stupid hardcore kid back in the 80’s. I was probably at 5 or 6 shows that Verbal Assault played at the Anthrax and I missed seeing them ever single damn time. I had tunnel vision and I was wrong. I even had the chance to go to Verbal Assault’s “final show” in RI in 1991 that nearly everyone I know went to, but nope.. I went to see Bold or Gorilla Biscuits or some other band for the 100th time instead. I’ve been regretting that one for nearly 35 years. Thankfully Atomic Action re-released some of their records in the last decade and Verbal Assault started playing again. All three times I’ve seen them since they’ve started again have been off the charts. They were tight as hell and played every song you would want to hear and more. If they play at all near you, GO. 
This show was back in 2022 with Soulside, Bedmaker and Wrong War at the Armory in Somerville MA.

This isnt really a post about Gel it’s about me and this band I met around the beginning of the pandemic and ended putting out a record and tge show we did on June 19, 2021 in my backyard. For a lot of people this was their public event in over a year. We had over 300 people show up for this started us on a stretch of great backyard shows that Gel played again in 2022. I loved this band, I loved the people in it I hoped so much for them they worked so hard. My life has been a mess over the last year I hadn’t seen or spoken to them much in the last year but man I still hope for the best for all of them. Bands are tough, very difficult creative relationships that sometimes go on forever sometimes implode. I want to just remember that band that played my backyard and I hung out with a ton. I hope they are all doing well.

For everyone who ordered the KING FACE lp we’re are very sorry for delays the pressing plant, The Vinyl Lab in Nashville, we had it at that promised it in December 2024 went bankrupt in December 2024. Luckily the project was saved by Piper from @pmpvinyl and they have been working their asses off to make sure we have them in our hand. Again we are very sorry for this delay I heard about the closing from Piper and not even from The Vinyl Lab themselves despite a number of emails and calls. We did get a small number for the show a couple weeks ago but are still waiting on the balance of the pressing. We will get them out as soon as we get our hands on them. Again sorry for the delay.
