The entire reason for this trip, to see the original Flying Burrito Brothersā suits reunited for the first time in decades. The suits were commission through @nudies_rodeo_tailors with @manuelcouture taking the lead. I got seriously misty eyed. I have Gilded Palace of Sin, where they wore these on the cover, framed in my dressing room, I see the suits every day. So to see them in person was beyond emotional. š
I read once that someone wished they had a trailer for peopleās profiles so they knew what they were getting into. Honestly you could just scroll the userās feed, but in case you donāt feel up for that, here is a little reel showcasing what kind of content youāre going to get. Me, my cats, my spin on vintage fashion, amusement parks, weird places, museums, neon, concerts, and honestly anything else that I think is interesting enough to post!
One of my favorite thing about living in Southern California, especially near LA, is the amount of unique movie and television events. As we near the Emmys, For Your Consideration events pop up, and this weekend @crrrstal and I went to a nearby mall to see screen used costumes from Fallout. It was so cool to see the details the talented costume team put into the variety of people that make up the Wasteland. I of course took with my my beloved Mr. Pebbles āpoptartā (as I call them) that Cristal made. #falloutonprimeā”ļø
Life lately. New acquisition to my occult collection that Houdini approves of, Bess has found the saloon, Ian Malcom is quite the charmer, finally started my pet portrait collection, and my Cobra II is leaking coolant inside the car.
I was stopped in my tracks by this MASSIVE building simply dubbed āThe Victorian.ā Frankensteināed together from pieces of old Bunker Hill homes and an old Catholic poor house, it was built in the 1980s as a massive office building. See more photos on the bl0g. āļøāš„ in b!0 and stories!

Sometimes I canāt get over the things I get to do living in California. Growing up in the early 90s meant my mom and I religiously watched Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. We tuned in each week to see what new trials Colorado Springsā first woman doctor faced and swooned over her beau Sully. Shortly after moving to California I made the pilgrimage to Paramount Ranch where Dr. Quinn was filmed and marveled at how much it still looked the same. I returned many times before the tragic fire. Especially after it appeared in Westworld. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when @janeseymour announced her 75th birthday was to be a fundraiser for her @openheartsfoundation ! With my birthday being next week my dad kindly purchased my ticket to the event as a gift. While Dr. Quinn wasnāt part of our father/daughter bonding, James Bond was, and Seymour played Solitaire in Live and Let Die, and my dad absolutely adored Somewhere In Time. Also in attendance were members of the cast and crew from Dr. Quinn and costumes were on display. One item was even up for auction, Sullyās iconic fringe jacket! I didnāt take it home though. š But I chatted with the woman who did and I guarantee itās going to a good home.
Abandoned since 2020, Griffith Parkās pool will turn 100 next year, but itās about to be demolished. šāāļø See and read more on the blog. āļøāš„ in stories and b!0
FINALLY made it to the Dolby! I couldnāt believe it when @darbarla told me @paleycenter Paley Fest was celebrating the 50th anniversary of Charlieās Angels! While Farrah Fawcett is no longer with us, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd took to the stage to reflect on the show and their long careers. For the evening I threw together a look inspired by Jillās outfit in the iconic episode āAngels in Chains.ā I donāt really have words to describe how much I loved this show growing up. I even had to have Farrahās characterās car.
