A few frames from today’s match between @thegunfc and Hackney Wednesday @hw_fc for the Camden Senior Cup Seminfinals. Hard fought match ending 3-2 to HW with 2 goals from HW in the final minutes to get the win.
Before the match the ground was so cold and frozen that there was talk that match might not go on. But the sun came out and turned it into mud. More to come…
Been trying to get into more studio photo work, so when my friends started a drinks brand called @drinkwithshimi (Shimi), I thought it’d be fun to do a shoot for them and test out some new lights I purchased.
We turned their flat into a studio with some bin bags and black fabric, a few lights and a white paper seamless…and voila. The drinks were amazing! Look for them at popups coming soon, and potentially canned drinks in the future?
I’m always really excited to see people go for it and try something new, launch a product, produce a script. And it couldn’t be two lovelier people. Best of luck to them.

We captured a number of Premier Foods Group @batchelors_uk products including their iconic Super Noodles & Cupa Soups as part of the launch of their rebrand. It was a huge PR event and we are so proud to have been a part of it! 😁
They had an all day take over of the @outernetlondon in Tottenham Court Road and it was so cool to see all 5 screens covered in noodles. We’ve put together a little BTS for you all to see how it all went down!

Met my brother in Japan for a week of travel. Since I first went in 2017 with my now wife, I’ve been a very big fan of this place and culture. I had wanted my brother to experience it as I thought he’d enjoy. And we did. Travel always makes me sappy, but the older I get, the more I appreciate these experiences. And doing it with someone you care about means a lot. Arigato gozaimasu!

Thanks 2025. Hoping to do more in 2026. Thanks to all the producers, agencies, clients, friends and freelancers who have hired us/me this year. It’s been an absolute pleasure. It’s no secret that freelancers have struggled the past few years. We can choose to be cynical about it, or forge new paths, focus on new skills, invest time in our own projects, and work with new people/groups/etc. as hard as it can be sometimes, I choose to stay positive about the industry. Yes, it is changing but there’s never been a greater need for video production. It’s just a matter of where you fit or can manage to carve out a slice for yourself. Do something different, reach out to peers online, meet in person, there is something for you somewhere. If you need to speak with someone, please reach out. See you in ‘26!
