My EP What’s My Age is out now! everywhere! for listening! at anytime! isn’t that cool?
I think these songs capture some sort of coming of age for me. bits of adoration, grief, attachment, identity. All of it. typically outspoken on aging, i am thankful for the time passing and touching my life in all its folds and creases.
a lot of time went into this EP and a lot of wonderful people were a part of it. I’m so grateful for Dan Carrol the producer on tap who heard what I was hearing in my brain and made it make sense. Thank you Marley Donnan-Cook, Bob Tweedie, Jay Cernohorsky, Jack Hill, Ben Andrew, Tess Dwyer-Long, Isaac Norman, Chet Morgan for their thoughtful playing on the songs. Charlie Bray, Clancy Davidson, George Gare and Tess for their beautiful voices in the when I leave choir. Riley Brewer for the two live solo recordings we made on a cold day in Naarm almost 2 years ago.
Isaac Barter for a considerate mastering ear
Kristian Roosmalen for a stunning wet plate photo that is the ep artwork
And to Oscar Van Gass for the endless support and optimism in getting this EP to you all
wow as I’m writing these out and remembering all we’ve done, I’m feeling really really lucky to be able to collaborate with as many people as I do. so so lucky.
Go listen to ‘what’s my age’ anywhere and everywhere ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
