There are journeys you take with your feet.
And others you take within.
Over the past week, we crossed mountains, deserts, and silence. We climbed to where the air becomes thin — and so do certainties — reaching the summit of Toubkal. Then we descended into the vastness of the Sahara, where time slows down and everything shifts in scale.
But at its core, this wasn’t a journey about places.
It was about limits — and how we can redefine them.
About discomfort — and how it creates space for growth.
About people — who, in just a few days, become# friends.
Between the effort of the climb, the cold of the mountains, the heat of the الرمال dunes, and the silence of desert nights, we carried back more than memories: we carried new perspectives.
We learned that the essential is simple.
That nature puts everything into proportion.
And that when we step away from the noise, we can finally hear what truly matters.
We came back different.
Lighter. More present. More alive.

Sunny mornings call for something extra special ☀️✨
Today’s breakfast: Crème Brûlée French Toast — perfectly caramelised, soft on the inside, topped with fresh berries and served with creamy Greek yoghurt.
I've seen a bunch of amazing recipes for this lately and wanted to recreate the crunchy sugar topping that turns these French Toasts extra special and they turned out super yummy! 🥰😋And not hard to do either, just sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar on top of the fried toast and use a scorcher to turn the sugar into a delicious caramel crust. 💫
Sweet, comforting, and just indulgent enough to turn an ordinary morning into a little celebration. It definitely made me smile… and my kids too ❤️
Because the best days often start around the table.

🍌 The “Don’t Throw Those Away” Banana Bread 🍫
Stop! 🛑 Before you toss those overripe, spotted bananas that everyone is ignoring on the counter—give them a second life.
This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is my favorite way to turn mushy bananas into a total treasure. It’s moist, packed with melty chocolate, and topped with a thick, buttery Cinnamon Crumble that adds the perfect crunch to every bite.
Why you’ll love this recipe: * Zero Waste: Uses up those brown bananas no one else will touch. * Freezer Friendly: I love slicing the loaf and freezing individual pieces. It’s the ultimate “future me” gift for busy mornings or late-night cravings. * The Topping: Let’s be real... the cinnamon streusel is the main character here.
Pair a slice with a hot coffee and you’ve got the perfect afternoon snack. ☕️✨

One of our most favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is passing by the Cascais market, with all its bustling colors — fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers — and the highlight is always the fish market, with the freshest fish and seafood one can imagine.
Today’s treasure? Fresh lobster — destined for a classic New England Lobster Roll. 🦞
Lightly poached lobster, gently folded into a simple dressing of good mayonnaise, a squeeze of lemon, a touch of Dijon, sea salt, and freshly cracked pepper. The key is restraint: the lobster must remain the protagonist. I like to add a hint of finely chopped celery for texture and a generous handful of fresh chives for brightness.
The bun matters just as much. A soft brioche roll, lightly brushed with butter and toasted until golden on the outside but still tender inside. Warm bun, cool lobster salad — that contrast is everything.
Finish with flaky sea salt and extra chives, serve immediately, and enjoy with something crisp and cold.
Simple ingredients. Respect for the product. And a little bit of seaside magic from Cascais. 🌊✨
