@joecarabeo_photography had a action packed time at one of his favorite film festivals @indieshortfilmfest . 2 films screened that I worked on , @comicsdestroyer PAUL POPE:THB ( director) , @thehealreel The Chronicles of Amy & Joel ( Cinematographer, editor) and was also the Documentary Panel with other award winner filmmakers and an Oscar award winner filmmaker and had one hell of an awesome conversation with Phil Wagner and Albert Crane on the panel. Plus, the food at the filmmaker lounge was great!
I had a fantastic time at the Indie Short Film Festival.

The 2026 show was definitely a blur, but I remember meeting some awesome new people reuniting with past ones, and lots of good vibes. It's always great to introduce people to @carolynbelefski and @joecarabeo_photography 's comic book work who haven't had a chance to check it out.
I'm always appreciative of the love that the Awesome Con Short Film Festival gets every year, It's always a year of hard work for just these 3 days and then suddenly it's...but I love it. I'm definitely looking forward to year 12, every year there's always something new. Massive THANK YOU to the team at Awesome Con for working with me and teaming together again, and another massive THANK YOU Dylan @lanooski for assisting us the whole weekend.
