January 2026, started calmly with plenty of
time for some reorganisation, creative pursuits & learning.
These endless journeys each has its own story to tell,
ever evolving across the span of time.
Each requires no less time, discipline & commitment in pursuit of progress.
And when the offers and messages start rolling in,
it was time to get the working gears going.
January’s gigs mostly revolve around familiarity.
Warm familiar faces & environments, I’m running almost on auto pilot.

Got an invite for an art exhibition from Hong Hu, a friend in the industry.
Thought it will be a lovely exposure for my aspiring little artist. And a day from the screens for the boys.
Nice chattin with the artists from Studio 1914 & their Indonesian composer, Gardikagigih.
I found it amusing, that Naima tried so hard to understand each piece.
Coming up with interesting analysis of the art work.
I told her, to appreciate it.
It’s not about trying to understand it.
Art encompasses everything around us.
God is an artist.
And if we take that moment to be present, and just observe any of His creation, everything is His artwork.
We are His work of art.
Each one a living constant evolving work of art.
I don’t need to understand you.
Never will be able to.
But I, truly appreciate you. ✌🏽

This is my second time having a Fire Shrimp Colony.
My first colony in my community tank got wiped out when the fish population number increased.
I believe those shrimplets didn’t stand a chance against the predation.
Here to a shrimp only tank to keep a constant supply of shrimps.
Starting this colony on a 45cm x 30cm x 30cm classic tank.
Fully cycled & fully planted aquascape.
Now, get busy guys! 😄

As a kid I enjoyed Lego.
Always be crafting machines, robots & structures from my imagination.
Creativity is my personal escape.
Today, aquascaping is one of that escape.
It is design, science, technicality, nature and life in a glass tank.
I never get bored ever since I discovered & embraced it.
This year I’ll be building a few new tanks.
One of it is for a colony of fire red shrimps.
This is the cave I’ve built for that tank.
With a small piece of driftwood on top of it.
It will be placed in the left corner frontal frame.
With thick bushy plants as its mid-ground & an Echinodorus Marble Queen planted in the background of this left frame of the tank.
There will be further updates on this tank.
Maybe I might start another account just for my aquarium stuffs, the unedited videos are insanely many. 😂

2025 have been a nice rebound.
A number of manifestations of my thoughts
made the past years becoming reality.
One of it is doing a number of commissioned sound design projects.
A returning client gave me the freedom & I really enjoyed the process of using synthesizers to fill up the sound scapes of this 5 minute narrative video.
Add a few foley, sound libraries & never enough synthesizers! 😄
I look forward to growing this segment of my sonic arts come 2026.

Lil Naima scored a skate scooter from her grandfather.
She got home that day with a scooter and all smiles.
“Daddy…Atok forced me to buy.”
I wonder how that scene works out. 😄
She immediately made a booking with me to bring her to the park to test her new ride.
On that day, she kept reminding every 30 mins from 1pm till schedule of 5pm.😅
It was hilariously annoying.
Parenthood is an endless test of patience.
Tho, I know that she is truly just excited. 😁
So, I now have a cardio partner who rates her skatescoot session with me a 10/10.
With that kind of ratings on google reviews, I’ll achieve success in good time. 😉
We clocked 6.8km on this session.
We already scheduled a next location for our next session.
She’s a very chatty cardio partner, no music plugs for me.
Just conversations after conversations. I hope she’ll remember this when she’s older cos I surely will. ❤️

To have full creative freedom & full ownership of my artworks in this journey.
