It’s not easy to put into words what we’re about; we might look like a social club, an event space, a co-working spot, or a wellness studio—there’s a bit of truth to that.
But really, we’re building something unique.
The best way to describe it for now? Think of us as a Third Place.
We’re tapping into that urge so many of us have to live more fully. This space is where we’re building an ecosystem from scratch, blending personal exploration with community collaboration.
Today, more than ever, many of us actually have the chance to design a bespoke life and livelihood that is intentional and fulfilling. Some of us are already on that journey but could use support. Others are curious but unsure.
And many still think it’s just not realistic—especially when society’s message is to go after what’s established, predictable and extrinsically rewarding.
And that certainly works for many of us, in many contexts. But for other definitions of success and flourishing, the system doesn't embrace it, you're left to figure it out on your own.
We're here to demonstrate and paint a picture of an alternative narrative; a movement that shows there’s another way. It’s crowdsourced from the paths each of us is walking and building.
If any part of this speaks to you, share it with someone who’s also in a season of seeking.
And if you want to get involved, reach out (LINK IN BIO)—we’re looking for volunteers, collaborators, and thought partners of all kinds.
Some of the best conversations don’t happen at events—but in the open spaces between them. Between learning, between responsibilities, between seasons of life.
This is a gathering place for everyday lives in motion. A human library for the unscripted, nonlinear, and unfolding.
Welcome to your living room.
Over the past 3+ years, we’ve hosted 350+ events—bringing strangers together across a wide range of topics.
We support our hosts, nurture their ideas, and make space for conversations that matter. And when you return from a personal season of growth, you need people who can meet the new version of you.
Sometimes, strangers are the best ones for that.
The Public Living Room is open. Come by and surprise yourself.

okay so real talk.
Hassania and I (Sandy) were literally just sitting there one day going — wait, why is there nowhere in Singapore for women founders to just... talk? Like actually talk. Not pitch. Not perform. Not pretend everything is fine when your startup feels like it's held together with vibes and sheer stubbornness.
we both came from L'Oréal.
we both left.
we both built something we believed in.
and we both know what it feels like to be
in a room and feel completely invisible.
so we decided to make a different kind of room.
Sandy is turning textile waste — hotel
beddings, uniforms, old towels — into
regenerated fabric. (yes, really.)
Hassania built WESHARE because the
social experience and travel app she needed didn't exist.
neither of us had a clean plan.
neither of us felt ready.
we just knew we couldn't not do it.
—
if you're somewhere in that messy middle —
building something, doubting something,
or just really tired of being the only one
in your circle who gets it —
this one is for you.
come as you are. bring your questions.
the conversation goes where the room takes it.
that's the whole point.
all genders welcome. space is small on purpose.

When The Body Remembers: Healing From Trauma
A masterclass translating how the body keeps the score
[Link in bio]
The Body Keeps the Score reshaped the trauma field. It is widely cited, deeply respected and often difficult to digest. This masterclass is a structured translation of Bessel van der Kolk’s core teachings, delivered in clear, precise language so you can fully understand how trauma is encoded in the nervous system and what that means for your life.
It is a focused, structured deep dive into how trauma lives in the body, why insight alone often does not resolve triggers, and what nervous system integration can actually look like in practice.
What we’ll cover:
Part 1: Translating the Science
Understand how trauma reshapes the brain, body, perception, memory, threat responses, and emotional regulation.
Part 2: Live Nervous System Experience
Through guided psychosomatic exercises, you’ll observe how activation shows up in the body, how stress can precede thought, and how simple interventions can shift your internal state. There will also be 2 live demos.
Part 3: Trauma-Informed Nervous System Integration Manual
All participants will receive a structured manual created by Lou, trauma-informed psychotherapist and founder of The Conscious Mind Psychotherapy.
The manual includes tools for identifying trauma responses, detecting nervous system states, grounding and regulation, emotional mapping, metacognition, and applying the work to relationships, parenting, and workplace stress.
Because insight alone does not always create change.
This masterclass is about helping you understand the science, experience the body, and begin operationalising the knowledge in a way that feels practical, grounded, and meaningful.
When The Body Remembers: Healing From Trauma
For those ready to understand trauma beyond the mind, and begin working with the nervous system.

Posted this earlier and got the dates wrong, now we’re on the right date and day - Saturday, middle of the month-ish, missing all the good public holiday long weekend plans so you can come have your quiet time with your journal.
For the new folks, journaling club is a gentle invitation for you to come journal alongside other people. It’s really about dedicating some quiet time that you needed for a conversation with yourself. Maybe there’s something you needed to unpack, or something that needs to be voiced but you haven’t found a way to do so that won’t hurt others around you, or you just want to get to know yourself a little bit better!
I’ll provide some journaling prompts, you bring your journal and favourite pen, and we’ll spend a quiet hour writing together in a cosy community space.
The colour of the post may seem warm and high energy, I promise you we’re a calm, cosy bunch!
The session is pay as you wish, in contribution to keeping the doors of @strangerconvos , a space for exploration, connection and curiousity, open for folks like me and you. 🧡

Hi, we're Angeline and Toni. We’ll hold space for you to share stories that may never have been given the time or space to be heard.
Of parents who were absent, or emotionally unavailable.
Through gentle prompts and guidance, we’ll help you unpack both the obvious and the less visible layers of these relationships.
By revisiting and reflecting on long-held beliefs about your parents, you may discover new ways of understanding these relationships.
With a grant we've gotten, we'll also be running a follow-on session at Orchard in end-May.

A chance to experience a different way of life, in a village in the Japanese Alps.
After our fully booked March immersion, one thing became clear — this way of being together is rare, and deeply needed.
For families with children, and adult travellers who are open to sharing in that rhythm.
(We already have solo adults and all-adult families joining us.)
This week’s “I Am Enough” group therapy continue to explore how the body holds onto past experiences, whether you remember it or not.
We will take time to map out your responses - promoting a deeper understanding of yourself, not just cognitively, but on a nervous system’s level.
Join us on 21 April at Stranger Convos.
