Dedicating this one for the anime that was there when I started it all. Go #BeyondFurther #PlusUltra

I can confidently say that 100gl or 810 total was there, just chose the conservative end.
We finally hit 800 and the lightest to ever do it. Still need more effort to be at least a contender again in the Asian level.
The only PL meet that I wasn’t too much in rage mode. Just having fun and hitting all of my attempts. 8/8 babyyyy
On to the next one @filipponx
Thank you to my sponsors. I wouldn’t have been able to succeed if not for them.
@wheyl@gymzilla.ph@sbdphilippines@equinoxathlete
Thank you to me handlers @aud.sbd@esmealegriaa.fitness
And to the on-call PTs that helped me on my final deadlift!!! @lksyn.arce@denaaalifts Appreciate you both!! They helped me warm up when my forearms were cramping!
the time has come.

beyond grateful to see myself enjoy every minute of this and have the most authentic smile i can see in my face, to be able to come back from last year, from 4th to champion in the biggest stage in the Philippines. Persevered through it all, for the Ivan that did not even begin to think it was possible.
Only hoping and praying that I can gather enough funds to represent the country for Asians in May.

Now looking back, this was a great learning experience. Im still very grateful for this opportunity to compete in nationals even though my performance wasn't the best.
Thanks once again @joisuuee for being a magic man
(Lets get that conventional up and running once im back from Korea)
Also, thank you @astermediaph for such good quality videos and pictures, y'all really made my first nationals something to never forget ❤️

From 14th to 4th place. This meet wasn’t about qualifying for next nationals anymore, it was about chasing a podium finish.
Squats were squats.
Bench. It took most of the beating. Unaware of the “forefinger in contact with the rings” rule (wide grip bencher problems), I had to change technique, also went in with a strained Serratus Anterior. The goal was simple; don’t bomb out.
3rd attempt deadlift. The lift that could have put me on the podium. The glory that hovered just above lockout. The pull that got away 💀 I was worn out, blacked out trying to lockout.
I should be proud of this feat, but it only makes me want more. See you next year! 🔒
A big thank you to everyone who supported!
akong tender might, @xfitbella , for the unwavering gugma and care. Top tier handling skills too!
to my team, @barbellsnweights , the gym fam, for creating such a strong & competitive environment.
Shoutout kay brodie @johnsorima sa donated Hyperv’s, dun galing lakas ko sa bench 🤝🏼
Meet was immaculate @sbdphnationals !
