The parents we work with stay awake at night wrestling with impossible decisions. Too often, they have to decide between buying diapers or paying this month’s bills.
So we're asking our community to spring into action! Our goal is to gather all the products on our wish list - diapers, clothing, bedding, and personal-care items – to bring comfort to nearly 500 foster and intact children in our care.
🌱 Will you purchase a basic-needs item off our wish list? Get involved at the link in our bio. 🔗
✨ YOU DID IT! ✨
Our community came through in a huge way—together, you raised $230,000 to support our programs at this year’s Faces of Hope Gala! 😱💙
We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up for the House. Your generosity is creating life-changing opportunities for so many Chicagoans. 🙌
🎬 This year’s gala also premiered our new short film, Worthy, created with @figmedia . Told through the voices of our students and graduates, it’s a moving glimpse into the transformation happening every day at Association House.
These are just a few of the incredible people finding hope, healing, and opportunity under our roof—and your support makes their journeys possible. 💫

"Never compare your first chapter to someone else's twentieth. Your moment is coming, and faith will carry you even further than talent will." -Sam Valtierrez, Association House Clean Energy Instructor 🌳💚
Some more sweet moments of celebration from our Clean Energy construction graduation ceremony! We're proud to be sending this crew of grads into the industry with meaningful skills in their toolbelts 👷🚧 #gogreen #jobtraining
Thanks for having us @chipubschools ‼️ We brought our programs to the Office of Multicultural-Multilingual Education's summer community event, providing CPS families with clothes, hygiene kits, health education and more! What a fun summer kickoff ☀️
Our next Spirit of Hope honoree is the one and only Lori Crowder, Executive Director of @alsochicago . 💚 If you know her, you know that she brings big change and a bigger heart with her-- and her work with ALSO and the SC2 gun violence reduction initiative this year was no exception.
At Faces of Hope, we're celebrating her dedication to violence prevention, and the people-over-numbers energy she brings to community organizing that has allowed Humboldt Park to flourish this past year.
It's not too late to get a ticket and celebrate with us! Join in the fun on June 11 by getting a ticket now. Link in bio! 🔗

We do Fridays differently at Association House High School 🐟⚔️ With graduation just around the corner, our students let loose at the Shedd Aquarium and Medieval Times last month!!
Just a little over a month left until Faces of Hope 2026! 😱 As the countdown continues, we're celebrating this year's Spirit of Hope awardees: vital community leaders that have made a year of amazing change possible.
Our first Community Honoree is Esther Franco-Payne, Executive Director with the Partnership for Safe and Peaceful Communities.
Through PSPC, Esther leads a coalition of 50+ funding partners working alongside community organizations to reduce gun violence across Chicago. Her leadership amplifies voices too often unheard—bringing stability to the present and helping build a safer, more hopeful future. 🙌
Secure your tickets at the link in our bio, and let's celebrate victories for our city like all those that Esther has created! 🏆
May is Foster Parent Appreciation Month, so we're banding together to support our foster families with child care & home essentials that make all the difference in encouraging kids to flourish.
We're asking our community to shop our essentials wishlist this spring, including items like diapers, strollers, bedsheets and more.
We're a quarter of the way to fulfilling all our families' needs: will you spring into action and help us today? Shop our wishlist at the link in our bio 🛒🔗
💼 Last month, we joined @mcdonaldscorp for session one of their hands-on Leadership cohort, getting an inside look at the philosophies of growth & education at the center of their work.
After attending seminars on fostering leadership skills, and employing new technologies to give you a competitive edge, we returned to the House with new tactics to share with our career training students and staff to push their abilities even further!
We're excited to join in for future sessions and be part of this amazing community of leaders! 💛
🥳🍾 Congratulations to our very own Christian Diaz for his appointment to the @metrarail Board of Directors!!
Christian is a fierce advocate for affordable, equitable, transit-oriented housing, and one of the key innovators at LUCHA. We're so proud to share his voice with Metra in Chicago and can't wait to see him continue to lead the charge toward a fairer, more accessible city!! 💙
